Today the much awaited more of Tamil film the villu movie released, unfortunately(or lucky..??) i dint get the ticket for the first day show for villu film , one of my friend made it , he is a hard core vijay fan , so i was just waiting to hear from him about the first hand villu movie review ,just the look on his face the moment it told the full villu review in a glimpse , to me i can describe villu movie review as in one word "as usual" (hope you guys got it)

Horrible experience i had watching this movie.. That too nite show at 11pm. I generally don go to Vijay movie.. Decided i must never ever go. Trust me, i took pills to reduce my headach after watching Villu.. U are a fortunate that u didnt get ticket :)

a simple answer to your question "villu hit or flop" , - "flop" no dought in that , just got to see if it makes it to the biggest flops of the year (vijayji wont let that happen, he will make sue to give yet another mega flop before the year ends)
dont know how many more films of vijays are going to come out with the same formula. its not vijays fault but its his fans that are to blame for refusing to accept any logical stories and themes that dont involve flying heroes, item and entrance songs and even cheaper comedy. Vijay is indebted to his fans but is in even more debt towards tamil cinema. If there was no cinema there would be no MGR, Jayalalitha, Kailaignar. Vijay should remember that!
The director Prabhu deva is brain drained with absolutely no story in line. The movie has its typical masalas - tiring fights and dances. The comedy sucks! Its time Vadivelu sheds some lbs before he can see himself on another movie. Nayan can do a better job just walking around with Victoria secret undergarments than barely dressing up and trying to act. Her facial expressions are horrible especially in dances and when she tries hard to say a simple dialogue. How long she can continue to just expose herself without even making an attempt to act. She can try that in different kind of sleazy movies, probably doubling her salary. Its time movies like this should be totally boycotted so actors stop bankrupting more producers. If at all, let them gamble with their own financing. Surprised how Vijay is lucky to be even among the top tamil actors. Wonder if at all the actors get to watch their own movie after completion even once. The movie is a total WASTE of time & money..

it is perfect entertainer...dont expect movies like mani rathnam from vijay...it is a masala movie...see enter tainment can be differet...for some it is just enjoying 3 hrs from the regular stressfull life...so villu is one masala movie so if u wannt to just enjoy then go and watch and if u want movies like of mani rathnam dont watch it simple...
villu is super hit,i saw the film on first day first show,it is perfect entertainer film.songs,stunts(flight stunt)and comodies are rocking.dont say,the film would flop without watching the film.
Ok, I do like Vijay movies but aint an ardent fan of him. But this movie is a total disappointment. Its not at all worth the time I spent. I had (and still have )high hopes on Vadivelu. He kinda let me down this time.he was trying really hard to make us laugh and guess wat, he needs to try harder. I am surprised there are people who think this movie is a hit. I think they are biased and dont want to accept that their hero has disappointed them. I would not recommend this movie at all. 1 on 5on my scale.

Villu will kill U. They are torturing us for precisly 2 hours 10 minutes. Villu - V ILL U. Stupidity flies high as usual in Tamil films. Aegan - 0.5 (1/2 star), Villu - 0.1 star. Crap and bullshit tamil movies. It's like a Simbu movie.

being an ajith fan i was hoping for this movie to be a flop.. i read the reviews first day itself and was very happy tat all the sites had blasted this movie left and right.. even thindigul sarathy was appreciated by a couple of sites. but villu was totally damaged by every1.. tat shows bad it was.. but my friend forcefully made me watch this movie.. even vijay fans were irritated and left their seats soon enuf.. the highlight was the climax sentiment scene wen the whole theatre was laughin like anything.. tho i was deeply disturbed by the stupid movie and vijay who shud not be called an actor as he does not knw to act at all, im pretty happy tat vijay has given a hattrick flop now.. and also hope tat he gives a couple more flops this year itself so tat guys like vijay are chased out the tamil film industry..
I didn't watch the movie yet...Purposely I am waiting to read the review and then I think of spending my time and money...I come to this decision by seeing previous Vijay movies...I think instead of having Primer Preview shows Vijay and his team should have preview shows for every shoot that they take to check how badly they are shooting...same single line story...badly taking revenge on villain...Does vijay watch his movie second time ??!!! Please ajith fans and vijay fans dont give unnecessary comments. Villu is a entertainment film, its a normal vijay film. the first half is excellent, vadivelu comedies are rocking.... both vijay and nayan combine with vadivel to bring a perfect comedy. Second half starts with a bang. Although the flight sequences are made in graphics its not withstanding and the car bomb blast also not real. Some logic missing here and there and its a perfect film. Songs are good, comedy is good, action is good and sentiment in climax.Some holes in action sequences thats all.Vijay lived upto his fans.
Instead of watching villu movie, we can watch POKIRI movie again. Because it's 100 times better than villu. Please dont go to villu. Really i would like to tell the orginal comment, i.e. first half flim is somewhat ok, but the second half we can't sit in the theater.
The movie Villu is boring. It is better for Joseph Vijay if he stops acting in such movies and do a serious approach on acting. Joseph Vijay is good in dancing but choosing stories seem to be his biggest weakness. Remakes of all successful movies willnot be a hit and he needs to understand this. vijay should return to romance again to erase our memories of this epic disaster. This movie was so bad that even hardcore vj fans started booing as the movie reached its climax. The laws of gravity were defied by vj yet again!!(AFTER THE BRIDGE SCENE IN KURUVI I THOUGHT HE WOULD HAV LEARNT A LESSON)as our hero spents most of the time in the air rather on the ground. comedy was for the front bench.nayan crossed the line by wearing very revealing clothes(I DONT THINK SHE WORE ANY). i thought prakash raj would come to save this movie but alas he was probably the worst( LOOKED LIKE HE DIDNT WANT TO BE IN THIS MOVIE)
the only good thing about the movie were the songs and ofcourse VJ's DANCE(NO ONE CAN COME CLOSE TO HIM!!!)
