Anees Bazmee is fast donning the mantle of the comedy king in commercial Bollywood. Having delivered big laugh riots like Singh is Kinng, Welcome and No Entry, Bazmee seems to be spinning box office magic in a style reminiscent of David Dhawan's oeuvre during the 1990s. There's a similar incoherence and a method in his madness as he spins implausible yarns that have just one objective. They want to tickle your funny bone, any which way, even if means throwing reason and logic out of the window. But hey, when did the desi box office ever bother about inanities like sense and sensibility.

So go ahead and have a blast with a film that celebrates chaos and hopes to be the stress buster you have been looking for after a hectic twenty-tenner. And yes, don't forget your crispies because this one's meant to pop the corn with its crazy characters and its cornball humour. Leading the brat pack is Anil Kapoor who tries a desi Pink Panther with his foolish cop act. He may have the responsibility of nabbing all the criminals running around in sylvan South Africa, but rest assured his handcuffs -- meant for the bad guys -- are always going to hang loose on his hips and the bullets in his gun will never meet their target. Small wonder then, hardcore robber Marco (Suniel Shetty) can barely stifle a yawn when the bumbling officer announces his arrival. But his foolishness elicits the best response from his wife, Sushmita Sen, who is torn between loving her husband or killing him for his stupidity. Her murderous bouts are the high point of the film, as are Paresh Rawal's attempts to set things right by setting them all wrong. Both Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna too seem to get their comic timing right as the goon buddys who are out to make a fast buck. Sadly, Kangana Ranaut's attempts to re-fashion her image from girl interrupted to giggly-headed beauty queen don't seem to have an edge.

no problem movie review by ndtv

No Problem is so staggeringly brain dead and relentlessly tedious that it makes Anees Bazmee’s earlier comedies, Singh is Kinng and Welcome look like classics.

In fact as I watched this incoherent patchwork of singularly unfunny gags, I decided that No Problem is even a few notches below Akshay Kumar’s stunningly awful Kambakkht Ishq.

At least in that film, you could distract yourself with Kareena Kapoor’s outfits. This is the bargain basement version.

So, the glamour comes in the form of Kangana Ranaut wearing fiercely blown lips and garish clothes; Neetu Chandra playing the villain’s moll in even more hideous outfits and Sushmita Sen trying her best to make schizophrenia funny.

And did I mention that the climax hinges on a gorilla letting out a gigantic fart. The story, what little there is, centers around a diamond heist, which goes wrong.

Two small-time crooks played by Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt; a bumbling cop played by Anil Kapoor and a nasty gangster Marcos played by Suniel Shetty are all chasing the diamonds.

This threadbare plot is an excuse for flat jokes, limp songs and action scenes, which are excessively violent for a comedy. People get shot, burned, electrocuted and brutally beat up.
There are also some random racist jokes, including one in which an African-American girl asks: Obama is the President of America and you still hate us. None of this is very funny but the last straw is a gag, which has Anil Kapoor making the moves on Akshaye Khanna in drag. I’m going with one star.

This writer had promised she wouldn’t pun on the title, but the film is such - a whole lot of problem. The desperation to outdo his earlier films shows; but this time writer-director Anees Bazmee is neither amusing nor funny.

Zandulal (Paresh Rawal) is settled in a village in South Africa with a blonde and their three children, including an African American. That is explained as their African American cook serves them lunch.

Yash (Sanjay Dutt) and Raj (Akshaye Khanna) are two conmen who are their guests for the day. The hospitality is the result of their having saved Zandulal from a gorilla.

But true to habit, they rob the local bank that Zandulal runs and flee to Durban. Zandulal follows them. Coincidentally, both of them turn out to be neighbours.

So while Zandulal is giving them the chase, Raj falls for Sanjana (Kangana Ranaut). The plot muddles further when we realise that Sanjana is the sister of Kajal (Sushmita Sen) who is married to clumsy cop Arjun (Anil Kapoor).

Since Raj and Yash have spent all the money they robbed from the bank, they promise Zandulal they’ll recover the money somehow. The three together hatch a plan to rob yet again to pay off the loot from the earlier robbery...phew!

Meanwhile true to 1980s mainstream Hindi films, the villains in the film have names like Marcos (Suneil Shetty) and Sophia (Neetu Chandra). They’re after diamonds that were in the tijori Raj and Yash looted. So there.

Check out the central characters: Akshaye Khanna’s character scouts around at seedy film sets asking for his weekly instalment (women).

Anil Kapoor’s character brings home a prostitute. Sanjay Dutt plays a role that is undeniably corrupt.

NO PROBLEM is a laugh riot! It is funnier than Golmaal 3. I saw with my friends yesterday and we could not stop laughing. The Comic Timing of actors like Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor is impeccable, but the surprise packet was Sushmita sen who excelled in her scenes. Her scenes were simply HILARIOUS. The public is loving this film and it is going to be a blockbuster super hit. Go watch it with your family. Specially kids will love it.

I don't know why some critics like Taran Adarsh are giving it a bad review. Maybe they have been paid by Yashraj films to do so? So that yashraj film Band Bajaa baraat can benefit. But BBB is a disaster!! having collected only rs 80 lakhs all over India so far. Nobody is watching BBB and everybody is loving NO Problem. Critics had given bad reviews to No entry and Welcome also but they became big hits. No Problem is on the way to become a SUPER HIT LIKE NO ENTRY
