The director of technical education (DTE) has declared 68,326 seats that are up for grabs at the 215 government-run, aided and unaided engineering colleges in the state based on the mhtcet cut off for engineering colleges in maharashtra.

Another 12,000+ seats are expected to be added by the end of June, when the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is to announce its sanctioned intake for 2009-10, which would include that of new engineering colleges starting this year.

Butale has been associated with the district entrance examination performance enhancement and research (Deeper) movement that aims at creating greater consciousness among students for competitive exams and improving Pune district's performance in the mhtcet cut off for engineering colleges in pune .


The number of students aspiring for engineering seats too has gone up significantly this year.
